How to win the Braun Award for best student poster at the ESA Annual Meeting
Submitted by drupaladmin on 11 July 2011.Register to be considered! This of course won't guarantee that you win--but you can't win if you don't register. I help judge the Braun Award every year, and I'm always struck by how few students register to be considered--typically 20 or fewer. That's surely a small fraction of the many students who give posters at the ESA Annual Meeting, and it's only a fraction of the number of students who register to be considered for the Buell Award for best student talk. So if you're a student doing a poster for the ESA meeting, I'd encourage you to register for consideration for the Braun Award. Don't just assume you won't win--let the judges decide that.
It's too late to register for this year, but for next year follow the Braun Award link I provided above to register (deadline is usually around Mar. 1).
