Ecologist interview: Colin Kremer

Submitted by drupaladmin on 14 March 2012.

Sarcozona's last (?) ESA interview is up. She chats with Colin Kremer, a grad student in the Klausmeier-Litchman lab at Michigan State. It's an audiofile, and well worth a listen. It's wide-ranging, touching on everything from why the ESA meeting is awesome (which it is) to choosing a research project to activism in science.

Colin and his labmate Beth were key contributors to a plankton dynamics working group I organized. Both super-sharp. I like that Sarcozona didn't just interview old fogies like me, because old fogies aren't the only ones with anything interesting to say.
