The beautiful illustarion on the cover for the April Issue was created by former student Patrick Beh and captures the most common zooplankton genera found while re-sampling aquatic communities from Canadian lakes in the paper “Geographic signatures in species turnover: decoupling colonization and extinction across a latitudinal gradient” by Natalie Jones and Benjamin Gilbert.
